Dubai, April 24th, 2020; Qantara sports is delighted to announce that Bruno Avelar Rosa recently joined as a Senior Partner at Qantara Sports. Based in Portugal, Bruno’s success track record will help drive Qantara Sports, ambitious growth strategy.
Bruno will lead the area of international clients in sports education and sports development. Bruno’s areas of expertise are sports policy, sports development and sports education. He has extensive experience related to cross sectorial collaboration between sport, health and employment in governmental projects. Prior to joining Qantara Sports, Avelar Rosa has been involved with several organizations, like the Barcelona Municipality, the Portuguese Sports Authority, the Portuguese Football Players’ Union or the Portuguese Genera-Directorate of Health, and advised several local and international Federations, Higher-education institutions Ministries and Non-governmental entities.
Bruno Avelar Rosa is an author and co-author of several scientific papers and technical documents in the field of sports education, sport ethics, sport development and health-enhancing physical activity.
Ph.D candidate in Educational Psychology from the University of Girona in Spain and a Bachelor Degree in Sports Science from the Technical University of Lisbon in Portugal. Bruno is a certified Karate and Judo coach and a coch educator in these sports. Bruno is married and has 3 kids.
