Anna Macia is a founding partner at Qantara Sports, she is based in the Middle East. Anna has more than 25 years of experience leading successful teams in corporate, governmental entities and NGOs. Anna’s areas of expertise are leading complex projects, Project and Program Management, high- profile strategic stakeholder engagement and Corporate and Governmental strategic communication.

Prior co-founding Qantara Sports, Anna led a number of high-profile strategic engagements for large corporations in banking, energy, airlines, telecoms, consumer goods and governmental institutions. She led European grants programs, sport tourism destination positioning and international relations projects and held managerial roles at Omnicom Group corporate communications firm, and at the European Parliament.

She holds a Master in Project Management, Master in Corporate Communication Management and a bachelor in Political Sciences and International Relations. She holds a certificate from Berkley University on Social Entrepreneurship. Anna is a former swimmer. She is married with 1 daughter.
